We've been lucky enough to work with some incredible clients over the years. Each project taught us something new - sometimes about architecture, sometimes about ourselves. Here's a look at what we've been up to.

This one was tricky. The clients wanted massive floor-to-ceiling windows for that killer river view, but Ontario winters aren't exactly forgiving. We ended up designing a passive solar system that actually uses the sunlight to heat the place - sounds fancy but it's really just smart window placement and thermal mass floors.

Converting an old warehouse into a mixed-use space was honestly one of our most challenging gigs. The building had good bones but zero insulation and outdated everything. We kept the exposed brick and steel beams - they've got character you just can't fake - and wrapped everything else in modern sustainable tech.

The client came to us wanting a "green building" - we gave them a living one. This 6-story office space incorporates vertical gardens that aren't just pretty to look at. They actually help with air quality and temperature regulation. Plus, the rainwater collection system feeds the whole green wall. It's like the building takes care of itself.

Client wanted a cottage that didn't scream "cottage" - more like a year-round home that happens to be near a lake. We used locally-sourced timber and designed it to blend into the treeline. The deck practically floats over the water.

Food hall meets farmers market in this space. We designed flexible vendor stalls that can adapt to different food concepts. Natural light floods in through skylights we added, and the ventilation system is top-notch - nobody wants to smell fish tacos all day.

Eight townhomes that don't look like carbon copies. Each unit has its own personality while maintaining the overall aesthetic. Shared geothermal heating keeps costs down - and yeah, the neighbors actually talk to each other.

This one was special. The old community center was falling apart, and the neighborhood didn't have the budget for a complete rebuild. We got creative - kept the existing structure, reinforced what needed fixing, and added a modern glass extension that brought in natural light.
What made it cool? We involved the community in every decision. Kids from the local school designed the color scheme for the youth center. Seniors picked the garden layout. It's not just a building we designed for them - it's a space they helped create.
Every building starts with a conversation. Let's talk about what you're trying to build - whether it's a home, an office, or something we haven't even thought of yet.
